Inteliment Technologies, a niche business intelligence and analytics company based in Pune, has been honoured with this year's CII-EXIM Bank's prestigious Business Excellence Award. Pursuant to receiving the award from Dr Richard Schonberg, researcher and author of Lean Six Sigma, and Marc Amblard, CEO - EFQM, Europe, Prashant Pansare, CEO, Inteliment Technologies, said, "We are humbled to receive the award. EFQM's framework has enabled us to further drive the excellence through a stakeholder-centric approach in a holistic and structured manner. Inteliment is India's first company in the IT-SME segment to be recognised for business excellence assessment based on the standards defined by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of India jointly established the Award for Business Excellence in 1994 with the aim to enhance the competitiveness of India Inc. The EFQM Model for Excellence is based on universally accepted standards and practices. "The award validates Inteliment's commitment to business and process excellence in leadership, strategy, people management, customer focus, strategic partnerships and creating a social value," a press release said.

The other recipients of this honour in 2012 are National Stock Exchange of India, Bosch Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd, Wendt-India, Durgapur Steel Plant, Godrej Appliances, Kalpataru Ltd, JSW Steel, Bhilai Steel Plant, Tractors & Farm Equipment Ltd, Triveni Turbine, Nicco Parks & Resorts Ltd. This recognition places Inteliment alongside past eminent winners like Infosys, TCS, HP India, Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors. At global level, organisations such as Xerox, Ericsson, IBM, Texas Instrument and TNT are EFQM award winners.

Inteliment has recently launched 'CXO Cockpit', an interactive analytics solution specifically designed for performance monitoring and accelerating business productivity of manufacturing companies. 'CXO Cockpit' is qualified as a complimentary 'rapid deployment solution' and is jointly marketed in the Indian markets by SAP and Inteliment, leveraging preferred partner relationship.
