NORD India has receives Best HR Practices Award 2015

NORD Drivesystems Pvt Ltd has been honoured with the first place in "Best HR Practices" Award from Genius Consultancy in association with The Times of India, which is one of the largest newspapers in India by circulation and largest selling English-language daily in the world. Directors from Economic Times were also present during the event. Genius Consultancy, a 22-year old company with a turnover of Rs 550 crore, has been successfully conducting HR Excellence Award since last 5 years. In 2015, these included 15 Award categories in two groups, i.e., companies having turnover up to Rs 500 crore and above Rs 500 crore. There were more than 500 nominations including companies like Piaggio, Mahindra, JK Papers, MSP Steels, Simplex, Coromandel, Britannica and various other software and logistics companies. The ‘Best HR Practices’ award was presented to Mr P L Muthusekkar, Managing Director and Mr Pankaj Vohra, Branch Manager (Sales) from NORD India.

Some highlights that helped the jury members from top industrial leaders and research team for recognising NORD for ‘Best HR Practices’ include:

NORD Drivesystems develops, produces and sells drive technologies with around 3.000 employees, and is one of the international leaders in the industry. In addition to standard drives, NORD supplies application-specific concepts and solutions, even for special applications, for example with energy-saving drives or explosion-protected systems. NORD produces a wide variety of drive units for torques from 10 to 200,000 Nm, electric motors with powers from 0.12 kW to 1,000 kW as well as the necessary power electronics in the form of frequency inverters and servo controllers. Inverter solutions are available for classical installations in the switch cabinet and for decentralised and fully integrated drive units.
