New Miniature Cartridge Valves from Parker Hannifin

Chennai, India, 16. May 2017 – The Fluid Control Division of the Automation Group of Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has extended its portfolio of cartridge valves with the introduction of a range of new miniature solenoid valves. The C7, C15 and C21 series are available in either 2-way or 3-way configurations and deliver faster response times and longer service life compared to competing technologies in a wide range of applications in markets such as industrial equipment, food and beverage processing and transportation.

The 7, 15 and 21 mm valves are 80 per cent smaller by volume and weight versus standard threading solenoid valves helping to ease design into space constrained equipment designs. Constructed from high quality stainless steels and employing premium FKM fluorocarbon sealing technology allows use with a wide range of gases in challenging environments.

C7, 15 and 21 cartridge valves offer designers a high degree of flexibility with versions for orifice sizes ranging from 0.3 mm to 4 mm. In addition, the devices are customizable for a wide range of parameters including voltage, flow, shape, material, cable length and connection allowing complete optimisation for specific design needs. Advanced flat spring technology and a frictionless design result in long service life of up to 109 cycles typical and a response time of just 0.5 to 7 ms which supports increased application productivity in many applications. Lower operating costs are also supported due to the low power operation of the new valves of 0.5 to 2.5 W.

Parker Hannifin's miniature cartridge valves have a 24 VDC operating voltage with other values available on request. They have an operating temperature range of 0°C to +50°C and are compatible with dry or lubricated air, neutral gases and liquids.
