The Mandal Becharaji Special Investment Region (MBSIR) in Gujarat has successfully completed its phase-I, transforming it into a pivotal center for automobile manufacturing. This development has attracted leading companies such as Maruti Suzuki India and Honda.

Spanning 102 square kilometers, the region includes nine villages: Hansalpur, Sitapur, Ughroj, Ughrojpura, Bhagapura, Gitapur, Ukardi, Chandanaki, and Shihore. The state government is expediting Phase II by enhancing the infrastructure, including streetlights, sewer lines, and clean drinking water, with a targeted completion within the next two years.

With substantial investments from major industrial players in Gujarat, the establishment of a new Maruti Suzuki plant near Bahucharaji has significantly bolstered the economic and employment prospects of the region. This development ensures a sustainable trajectory for future growth and prosperity.
