Paperex 2011, the International Exhibition & Conference on Pulp & Paper Industry, is being organised from 10th to 13th December 2011 in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event will host a French Pavilion organised by UBIFRANCE, French agency for international development, in collaboration with Symop, the French Association for Manufacturing Technologies, bringing together renowned French companies to evaluate business opportunities in the Indian paper industry.

For the first time, France is represented in the Paperex exhibition with a Pavilion, which brings together 5 leading companies from the French paper industry. This presence includes companies such as ABK Machinery, Clextral, Delta NEU, Metrasur Industrie and Techpap. These companies specialise in manufacturing technologies such as twin screw extrusion, dust extraction, centralized vacuum cleaning, pneumatic recyclable waste handling, rebuilding and coating, and manufacture and maintenance of various machinery, tools and equipment used in the paper industry. The French Pavilion offers an ideal occasion for these companies to promote their technologies and to share their know-how with professionals in Indian paper and pulp industry.

SYMOP, the French Association for Manufacturing Technologies, will take part in the French Pavilion as the federating organization. Affiliated to the French Federation of Mechanical Engineering Industries (FIM), Symop represents nearly 220 companies including leading players and small businesses, both catering to the national and international markets, specializing in manufacture of machine tools, machine components, CNC and software, machinery for paper and board industry, woodworking machinery, welding-brazing-cutting technologies, metrology, robotics, etc.
