Pune March 26, 2012: SPP Pumps, a subsidiary of Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), a leading global fluid management company has been awarded 'Manufacturer of the Year' at the recent Pump Industry Awards. SPP was also given this prestigious award back in 2008, and this year achieved a double win as Company Director Owen Shevlin was given 'Lifetime Achievement' award.

SPP Pumps, a leading provider of centrifugal pumps and systems, boasts a manufacturing centre in Coleford (Gloucestershire), which recently celebrated Silver Jubilee in the presence of Her Royal Highness, Princess Anne. The company is growing year on year and providing new, more exciting solutions for customers around the world. Throughout its 130 year history, SPP Pumps has been committed to delivering engineering excellence and high performance pumping solutions to its customers, using its knowledge, expertise and people to really add value to customers' business.

Mr Owen Shevlin, Director, SPP Pumps, is perfect examples of the people within the business who make things happen. Winning the 'Lifetime Achievement' award is a real recognition of his commitment to the industry for the past 43 years. Shevlin commented: "What a surprise it was to receive this award. I've worked at SPP since 1987 when I started as managing director, and it has been a pleasure to watch the company grow into a real player within the world of pump systems.
