Kataria Industries buys Ratlam Wires' manufacturing unit for Rs 306 million

Kataria Industries specialises in producing low relaxation pre-stressed concrete (LRPC) strands and post-tensioning anchorage systems, primarily used in infrastructure, road, bridge, and power transmission projects.
Kataria Industries has acquired the wire manufacturing division of Ratlam Wires in a slump sale valued at Rs 306 million. The acquisition includes Ratlam Wires’ steel wire product line, featuring spring steel wires, PC strand wires, and both galvanized and ungalvanized wires.
Yash Kataria, Senior Executive, Kataria Industries, highlighted the acquisition as a strategic move aimed at boosting turnover and margins. He noted that the deal’s synergies will enable the company to better cater to a wider array of industries and expand its product range and operational scope.
