Jindal Aluminium produces 115,920 MT of aluminium extruded products in FY23-24

Jindal Aluminium, India's premier aluminium extrusion company has once again set a remarkable milestone by producing a record-breaking 115,920 metric tons (MT) of aluminium extruded products in the fiscal year 2023-24. This achievement marks a 10% growth in production compared to the previous fiscal year, reaffirming Jindal Aluminium's position as the country's largest manufacturer of aluminium extruded products and its commitment to meeting the increasing market demand. With over five decades of experience and expertise in manufacturing intricate aluminium profiles, the company is renowned for its quality products and prompt deliveries.

Operating three cutting-edge manufacturing plants located in Bengaluru, Dabaspet (Karnataka), and a newly acquired facility in Bhiwadi (Rajasthan), Jindal Aluminium boasts a total manufacturing capacity of 2.35 lakh tonnes per annum. This includes 160,000 tonnes of aluminium extruded products and 75,000 tonnes of aluminium flat-rolled products. The company houses in-house, eco-friendly surface coating facilities such as powder coating and anodising.

Speaking on occasion,  Pragun Jindal Khaitan, Vice Chairman and MD, Jindal Aluminium Limited, said, “We feel humbled to contribute once again to the nation’s requirement with the highest production of aluminium extruded products, our commitment to delivering top-quality products, backed by best-in-class technology and stringent quality standards, remains uncompromised. As a pioneer in shaping India's downstream aluminium industry, Jindal Aluminium is the sole aluminium extrusion company in India to receive aerospace (AS9100D) certification. Furthermore, the company's dedication to sustainability is evident through its use of 100% renewable energy at two of its manufacturing units in Karnataka. According to the latest report by IMARC, the aluminium extrusion market in India is projected to reach an impressive 1,288,202.3 tonnes by 2028, indicating a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.49% from 2023 to 2028. This positive trajectory underscores Jindal Aluminium's strategic positioning and promises a bright future for the aluminium extrusion sector, presenting numerous opportunities for stakeholders across the value chain.
