The 2013 edition of Powder & Bulk Solids India held at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, attracted participation from more than 70 exhibitors. The three-day event, which started on 9th October, proved to be the perfect place to network and gather information on the latest developments in power and bulk handling and processing technology.

The show was inaugurated by Dr Vijay K Agarwal, IIT-Delhi, Chairman, Conference Board, Powder and Bulk Solids India, in the presence of Mr Paresh Navani, MD, Process India, Mr Bernhard Steinrucke, Director General, Indo-German Chamber of Commerece; Mr Marcel Drottboom, Vogel Business Media and Ms. Sonia Prashar, MD, NuernbergMesse India, the organiser.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Agarwal said, "The development of the infrastructural sector has been and will continue to be a priority for the Indian Government. This, in turn, necessitates the attention on production, storage, and transport of powder and bulk materials. The exchange of knowledge and know-how is a fundamental prerequisite to be able to rise to these challenges - and with its combination of exhibition and conference, Powder & Bulk Solids India is the perfect platform for this exchange."

This year's edition witnessed an impressive line-up of the cr?me-de-la-creme from the booming Indian Powder & Bulk industry. Key players like FL Smidth, Hosokawa Micron, Martin Engineering, Phoenix Conveyor Belts, Bectochem, Beumer Technology, Kiron Hydraulic Needs, Merit Technologies, Roechling India, Sanghavi Engineering, K-Tron, Allgaier, Vega India, Schenck Process, Vedic Pac Systems and many more exhibitors from India and countries like USA, Germany and Japan were part of the event.
