October 2016 – Mr Hanumanta Rao, an experienced transportation logistics veteran and visionary leader has joined FreightBazaar.com, India’s first integrated and the most trusted online platform for inter-city freight transport.

Over his illustrious career spanning 28 years, Mr Rao has held a series of leadership positions in the TCI group, one of the oldest and the largest logistics companies in India. Mr Rao served as Vice President of TCI – Freight Division in his previous role. As a VP, Mr Rao headed FTL and ODC segments as National Head. He was one of key persons in formulating systems and policies of company and he was a core committee member. He also played a pioneering role in outlining the business and delivery models. At TCI, Mr Rao worked in different parts of India heading Express Cargo division XPS for Region in Eastern, Western sectors and heading Freight Division for North sector. Mr Rao has been the member of All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) and the Executive Committee Member of the All India Transporter's Welfare Association (AITWA).
