Godrej Process Equipment bags Rs 4.68 bn order from NPCIL

Mumbai, July 15, 2021

Godrej Process Equipment - a business unit of Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group - has won its single largest order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) of Rs 4.68 billion. This order is Godrej & Boyce’s first order of steam generators for India’s highest rated indigenously developed 700 MWe Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) to be set up by NPCIL. This project promotes ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Steam Generators are critical equipment in a nuclear power plant for generating clean (non-fossil) and reliable source of Power for baseload requirements. Godrej Process Equipment has been chosen for their world class engineering competencies, capabilities for producing high precision equipment and expertise in working with exotic metallurgies. It will be manufactured at their new state of the art facility in Dahej, Gujarat
