Fuji Electric donates 4 UPS units to Sassoon Hospital for COVID fightback

These UPSs will be used to support the emergency lighting as well as all the critical medical equipment in the specially designated wing set up in the hospital for treatment of COVID-19 patients.
Fuji Electric, the Japan-based global power electronics and energy major, has extended its support in the COVID 19 fightback with the handing over and installation of four Three-Phase UPS units to the Government (Sassoon) Hospital in Pune as a part of its CSR initiative. These UPSs will be used to support the emergency lighting as well as all the critical medical equipment in the specially designated wing set up in the hospital for treatment of COVID-19 patients.
Speaking on the handover of UPS to Government Hospital in Pune, Sriram Ramakrishnan, MD, Fuji Electric India & Fuji Electric Consul Neowatt, said, “The COVID 19 Pandemic has caused unprecedented disruption to our lives in India and around the World. The medical professionals are leading the fightback from the front lines and Fuji Electric has extended its support to the medical community by ensuring uninterrupted power back up for many COVID 19 medical facilities across the country. This contribution is part of our commitment to support the Government in its efforts to provide required medical support to people during this crisis.â€Â
The Fuji Electric team has been in the forefront in supporting hospitals with the running of UPS in their premises and emergency installations of new UPS for providing additional power back up support as well as providing required service assistance since the early stages of the pandemic / lockdown in all cities across the country.
