Meetings will be organized by The French Trade Commission UBIFRANCE in India, on the 18th of March 2014 in Mumbai, between the Aeronautics Division of Godrej & Boyce and 2 state-of-the-art French enterprises. The French delegation will have the opportunity to showcase their know-how and technology to Godrej & Boyce, while these meetings will allow the Indian group to explore new avenues for possible partnerships with French counterparts in the aviation areas.

During the pre-selection process for these meetings, Godrej & Boyce carefully selected 2 leading French companies covering the fields of mechanical assembly, fabrication and welding in the aviation sector: Fives Group and FSH Welding.

The program of the 18th of March 2014 will include on-site visit of the Godrej & Boyce production plant as well as meetings with the Directors of its Aviation Division. As a matter of fact, one-to-one meetings shall also be organized between the representatives of the French companies and Mr S M Vaidya, Executive Vice President & Business Head of Godrej Precision Systems.

The foray into Aerospace activities for the group started in 1985, from supplying precision components to gradually supplying a wider range of fields: sub-systems and assemblies involving fabrication (welding and brazing), machining, heat treatment; assembly as well as testing complex and aero-systems.

FSH Welding is a major player in the welding and brazing market in the world, especially in France. FSH Welding India is the supplier and manufacturer of duplex welding, nickel alloy welding, nuclear welding, aerospace welding, brazing alloys, copper alloys and phosphorus.
