After a successful completion of FICCI Safety Excellence Awards in 2011, the organisation is now inviting applications for the second edition of FICCI Safety Excellence Award for the manufacturing sector for the year 2012. The awards will be given in September 2012 to the winning applicants. The awards will be given to firms and companies in recognition of their commitment to safety at workplace and putting in place safety systems in the organization. The award will be a motivation and would act as a catalyst for adopting best safety practices and systems in the manufacturing sector benchmarked with the best in the industry. It may be noted that the focus of these awards is more on robustness of safety systems in organizations.

The one day conference and awards ceremony will be organised in September 2012 for which FICCI would be requesting Hon'ble Union Minister of Labour & Employment, Shri Mallikarjun M Kharge to preside over the ceremony. Applications are invited from bonafide companies from the manufacturing sector, the last date to submit being before the close of business hour on 11th June 2012.
