DMG MORI - one of leading manufacturers of cutting machine tools and CNC-controlled Lathes and Milling machines - will showcase more than five high-tech machines & technology solutions for the metalworking industry at IMTEX 2023. Among them will be made in India CMX 600 Vi vertical machining centre and the new DMU 65 H monoBLOCK machine.

CMX 600 Vi is DMG MORI's flagship product which is crafted in Japan and produced in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu). It has sophisticated, lean and high-rigidity machine structure, which offers FEM analysis for simulating various operating conditions and environmental changes. It has roller guides with little elastic deformation and load. CMX 600 Vi comes with highly reliable spindle for various machining application. The labyrinth structure has been enhanced, taking into account frequent use of high pressure coolant. Its high quality clamping unit allows the spindle to maintain long period consistent clamp force on the tool. It has sophisticated design, small footprint and large working area - combined in the CMX Vi series. It offers advantages such as improved ergonomics for easy handling and loading of heavy workpieces. Its huge table with 900 x 560 mm allows machining of parts up to 600 kg.

DMU 65 H monoBLOCK offers benefits like ingenious working area for machining clamping towers and 5-axis components on one machine; ergonomic cab for easy access to the work area and easy set-up of components; and small footprint (13 m²) for high area productivity and slim design (2.6 m) for easy linking. Its one-piece, inherently rigid cast iron machine bed with 3-point support provides maximum rigidity (also available with HSK-A100) and highest precision.

It has thermosymmetrical design with extensive cooling measures for maximum long-term accuracy (up to 5 µm). It provides maximum process reliability through horizontal machining for ideal chip and heat dissipation.

Its versatility offers advantages like 5-axis capability for maximum flexibility thanks to swivel rotary table with bearings on both sides for components up to 600 kg; ingenious working area for machining clamping towers and 5-axis components on one machine; mill-turn variant for complete machining with up to 1,200 rpm; and extensive selection of flexible automation solutions thanks to standardized interface.

On the business front, DMG MORI has formulated a new three year management plan, "Mid-Term Business Plan 2025", which started in January 2023 to further advance process integration, automation, DX and GX in pursuit of building a resilient business foundation as a total solution provider to customers' processing needs.
