L-R: Tim Lee (Dy Head, Delta EMEA), Dalip Sharma (President & GM, Delta EMEA), Shan-Shan Guo (Chief Brand Officer, Delta), and Michael Mayer-Rosa (Senior Director for Industrial Automation, Delta EMEA), introduced Delta’s cobot D-Bot series, equipped with the newly-launched Cognibot Kit, at Hannover Messe 2025.

Delta, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, showcased a wide range of AI-driven smart manufacturing, energy infrastructure, and data centre solutions at Hannover Messe 2025. These included the award-winning D-Bot series cobots with advanced cognitive capabilities and integration with NVIDIA Omniverse to develop next-generation digital twins, along with DeltaGrid®—an AI-enabled energy management platform designed to enhance efficiency in energy infrastructure and support the global energy transition.

Shan-Shan Guo,  Chief Brand Officer, Delta, highlighted that as AI and infrastructure investments accelerated across the EMEA region, sustainability had become even more critical. She noted that customers were seeking industrial solutions offering both efficiency and resilience, and that Delta’s strengths in energy-efficient data centres and AI-powered smart manufacturing and energy management solutions enabled companies to unlock AI’s potential while pursuing their sustainability goals.

Dalip Sharma, President and General Manager, Delta Electronics EMEA, added that Delta’s technologies significantly contributed to the advancement of smart manufacturing, e-mobility, smart grids, and data centres across the region. For example, over 30,000 of Delta’s high-efficiency chargers supported more than half a million AGVs for a leading global e-commerce company, while the PCS1500 power conditioning systems played a role in a major BESS project in the Netherlands. He emphasised Delta’s commitment to deepening partnerships at Hannover Messe 2025 to shape an intelligent and sustainable future.

Spotlight on intelligent industry

Delta's D-Bot series collaborative robots with Cognibot Kit

Smart factories with D-Bot Series Cobots
Delta demonstrated its D-Bot series cobots equipped with the newly launched Cognibot Kit, offering AI capabilities and intuitive human-machine collaboration via the AI-Compute-Box. Features included 360° speech recognition, 3D object detection, gesture control, acoustic feedback, multimodal AI interaction, Wi-Fi, and an integrated 3D camera—making advanced cognitive robotics accessible and flexible for a broad range of industries.

AI-driven automation with NVIDIA Omniverse
Delta leveraged NVIDIA Omniverse to enhance AI-based automation, integrating real-time digital twins with D-Bot cobots for predictive collision avoidance and performance optimisation. NVIDIA Omniverse and NVIDIA Isaac Sim were also used to simulate complex manufacturing processes, enabling advanced planning and optimisation.

Revolutionising industrial EV charging
Delta introduced the MOOVbase Multi-Port Charging System, capable of simultaneously charging three logistics vehicles with different battery voltages using a single AC connection. Its wireless charging portfolio, MOOVair, supported AGVs, forklifts, and tugs with power options from 1kW to 30kW. The flagship MOOVair 03 offered 3kW wireless charging at 132A and 24V, boosting fleet uptime and reducing maintenance.

Driving the energy transition

AI-powered grid management with DeltaGrid®
Delta showcased DeltaGrid®, a platform using AI algorithms to enable real-time control, integration of renewables, and intelligent EV charging. Designed for commercial and industrial use, the platform helped optimise energy usage, cut costs, and support sustainability goals.

Comprehensive EV charging solutions
Delta’s UFC200 chargers supported over 700 McDonald’s outlets in France via IZIVIA. At Hannover Messe, Delta presented its German Eichrecht-certified 500kW Ultra-Fast EV Charger, capable of charging two EVs at 250kW simultaneously. It featured SiCMOS technology for high conversion efficiency, reliable performance, and accurate billing.

Next-generation energy storage systems
Delta launched the DELTerra C, an all-in-one system (125kW / 261kWh) for behind-the-meter applications, offering a liquid-cooled, easy-to-install design with automatic SOC calibration. It could scale up to 10 units for commercial buildings and EV stations. For utility-scale storage, Delta introduced the DELTerra M1—a compact solution with configurations ranging from 708kWh to 7.78MWh for supporting renewable integration and grid stability.

Delta presented its robust digital infrastructure offerings, including the Xubus Edge for outdoor, mission-critical applications, and the Modulon DPH 500kVA modular UPS, which offered leading power density in a compact format. Additionally, Delta introduced high-efficiency server power shelves tailored for AI factories and NVIDIA computing platforms, addressing growing demands for scalable, energy-efficient data centre solutions.
