Danfoss Power Solutions starts Rs 10 billion Pune plant

The new plant, spread over 44 acres, will be Danfoss' seventh manufacturing unit in India, joining facilities in Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru, and two other Pune locations.
Danfoss Power Solutions has begun construction of a Rs 10 billion manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune. This investment will double the company’s manufacturing footprint in India, boosting innovation and sustainability efforts.
The new plant, spread over 44 acres, will be Danfoss' seventh manufacturing unit in India, joining facilities in Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru, and two other Pune locations. It will expand production capacity for existing products like pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves while introducing new product lines to meet rising customer demand.
Scheduled for completion in the second half of 2026, the facility will cater to both domestic and global markets. It will also house an Application Development Centre (ADC) for machinery research and development, supporting Danfoss’ goal of decarbonising global operations by 2030.
