The highlight of Pingu and Pillar series is the hybrid nature that allows charging through solar panel and also through conventional grid power. Powered by lithium ion battery, the hybrid LED emergency lamps could be charged quickly and also features low self-discharge (which offers longer shelf life for batteries). Another salient feature is that brightness of light in the lamps could be operated with single switch, thereby optimising the battery storage.
