Bosch showcases hydrogen and AI innovations at Hannover Messe 2025

Bosch is set to present its industrial solutions at Hannover Messe 2025, focusing on hydrogen technology, AI-driven software, and efficiency-enhancing systems. The company will showcase its electrolysis stack for hydrogen production, which will launch in 2025 with an output of 1.25 megawatts, enabling the production of 23 kilograms of hydrogen per hour. Additionally, Bosch is highlighting its Pure Water System for ultrapure water production, an electrolyser stack testing system, and a compact gas compressor designed for efficient hydrogen storage.

Bosch's hydrogen initiatives extend to large-scale industrial applications, with its Hybrion PEM electrolysis stacks forming the core of modular and gigawatt-scale hydrogen plants. Even before its official launch, Bosch has secured 100 megawatts in orders, partnering with companies like Neuman & Esser, AKA Energy Systems, and Andritz. The company plans to manufacture these stacks at its Bamberg plant, integrating hydrogen production into its fuel-cell endurance testing.

Beyond hydrogen, Bosch is leveraging AI with platforms like HeyBosch, developed in partnership with Microsoft, to enhance industrial data management. Bosch Rexroth will also showcase its Hydraulic Hub, which employs AI for predictive maintenance and troubleshooting. Battery production solutions, including automation for material flow and end-of-line testing, will further demonstrate Bosch's commitment to supporting the energy transition.

At Hannover Messe, Bosch will also present its CryoPump station, co-developed with FirstElement Fuel, which reduces hydrogen refueling costs by 70% and shortens truck refueling times to ten minutes. With hydrogen positioned as a strategic growth area, Bosch expects its hydrogen-related revenue to reach billions by 2030.
