bauma CONEXPO INDIA appoints its new CEO

May 2017 – After four years in India and two bauma CONEXPO INDIA shows, the former CEO of bC Expo India, Igor Palka, will return to Messe München and assume new responsibilities as of May 1, 2017. His successor will be Bhupinder Singh, who is already CEO of the Messe München subsidiary Messe Muenchen India.

Stefan Rummel, Managing Director of Messe München, is pleased, "Bhupinder Singh is an experienced trade-show manager who will be in charge of the joint venture between the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and Messe München for one of the largest events in India."

Dennis Slater, President of the AEM, adds, "We thank Igor for the tremendous work he has done in successfully leading the bauma CONEXPO INDIA organisation; his enthusiasm, strong team spirit and dedication have contributed greatly to this cooperative effort between AEM and Messe München, and we wish him continued success."
