The 9th edition of 'Automation 2014, scheduled for 15-18 October 2014 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, has received tremendous response from industries pan India and globally. Industries from all sectors such as process, factory, building and electric automation, instrumentation and control, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, wireless and bus technology are coming together under one roof in Automation 2014. The event will have on display solutions and systems for industries in a diverse range of segments like automobile, oil and gas, power and energy management, chemicals, petrochemicals, fertilisers, OEMs, waste and waste water, metal industry, pharmaceuticals, white goods, plastics and food and beverages. "Evolution of Technology" is the key focus of Automation 2014.
Almost over 95% of the area is already occupied and reserved by prominent industries in the automation sector. The organisers of Automation 2014 have also planned a CEO Summit during the event, which hosts a panel discussion based on the theme of "Adopt Automation and Go Global". This edition will also witness knowledge based technical conferences by Foundation Field-Bus, and the Instrument Society of America is organising a conference on "Futuristic Automation Trends & Challenges".
The Automation exhibition has gone from strength to strength since the event was first held in 2002 and the present edition includes more exhibitors than ever. Visitors will be able to find out about the very latest products and services on offer and meet face-to-face with suppliers. Automation expertise is well represented and a wide variety of international exhibits will be on display. "We thank all industries participating in Automation 2014 and the continued support and confidence shown by industry in this series of events," said Mr Arokiaswamy, Managing Director, IED Communications, the organiser of the show. Automation 2014 is the platform where visitors will find sustainable solutions for their production efficiency, business profitability, optimisation of plans, cleaner and greener operations, safer and energy efficient. "Adopting automation is the best way to win in competition and sustainable growth," he added.
"Automation 2014 is a place, which will bring the right people together for the economic growth. We appeal to industry leaders, traders from all sectors to visit Automation 2014, said Mrs Jyothi Joseph, Director Operations. "We are also organisng one-to-one business meetings for promoting Indian industries and creating a platform to reach open market," she said further.
