Ahamani EV to open battery manufacturing plant in India, seeks collaborators

Ahamani EV Technology Co., Ltd., a leading Taiwanese firm in electric two-wheelers and smart mobility, is poised to make a significant investment in India's electric vehicle (EV) sector. The company has announced plans to establish a megawatt-scale battery manufacturing facility in the country and is actively seeking strategic technology transfer partnerships with key Indian automotive players. Discussions are already underway with 3-4 prominent EV companies.

With over two decades of experience in electric vehicle innovation, Ahamani has developed considerable expertise in battery technology, motor systems, and fleet management solutions. Its UrDa AIOT Mobility System, which offers advanced management of electric two-wheeler fleets, has been recognised for its efficiency and data-driven capabilities.

India’s growing focus on electric mobility, supported by favourable government policies and rising consumer demand for sustainable transport, presents a prime opportunity for Ahamani. The company's planned local battery plant aims to enhance India's self-reliance in the EV value chain, create jobs, and stimulate the domestic economy.

Additionally, Ahamani’s pursuit of technology transfer partnerships reflects its commitment to building long-term relationships with Indian industry leaders. This strategy will facilitate the exchange of knowledge, resources, and best practices, accelerating the development of cutting-edge EV technologies tailored to the Indian market.

Tzu Chi Kung, Founder & CEO, Ahamani EV Technology, said, “We have been analysing the Indian EV landscape for the past five years and recognize its immense potential. Our robust R&D capabilities and successful track record position us well to partner with Indian firms and advance the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.”

As India moves towards a more sustainable future, Ahamani’s investment and collaborative approach are set to play a crucial role in shaping the country’s electric mobility sector. The company's commitment to battery manufacturing and technology partnerships underscores its confidence in India’s growth prospects and its dedication to supporting the nation’s electrification goals.
