The 13th edition of ACREX India 2012 was inaugurated in Bangalore by Guest of Honour Dr Prem C Jain (Chairman IGBC), Mr R V Simha (Founder, Member ISHRAE) and Mr Nirmal Ram (Chairman ACREX INDIA 2012). The event, scheduled from February 23-25, 2012 at BIEC, Bangalore, is a platform to show case air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, allied mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, fire, lighting, automation and fenestration systems all under one roof and caters to the elite visitors.

Sharing more insights about industry, Mr Pankaj Shah, co-chairman ACREX India 2012 said, "ACREX 2012 is the perfect platform for the launch of new innovative, sustainable and technological products for tomorrow. Over 400 exhibitors including 25 countries and 3 country pavilions are participating in the exhibition.Some of the important companies participating are: Media, Panasonic, Daikin, Hitachi, LG, Samsung, Flaktwood, Carrier, Bluestar, Voltas and others. The exhibition also showcases 'Fire and Safety Pavilion' which is promoted by the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI). The association expects good growth opportunities for this market as the need for Fire Security and Safety is on the rise in Indian society. Companies with products and services in the areas of fire protection and industrial safety will be the main attraction in this pavilion.
