Under the motto, ‘industrial intelligence 4.0’ (in short, ‘iintelligence 4.0’), KUKA will present the automation solutions of the future at Hannover Messe from April 23 to 27, 2018. ‘Iintelligence 4.0: Beyond automation’, the new KUKA slogan reflects the evolution of Industrie 4.0 in recent years. During this time, KUKA has laid the foundation for networked, intelligent production – with great success, as already demonstrated by the interaction of the real and digital worlds in numerous companies.
This year, KUKA is taking intelligent production to the next level in what the company calls ‘industrial intelligence 4.0’. The basis for this is KUKA’s automation expertise, which has expanded to embrace new technologies for artificial intelligence, deep learning and big cloud analytics (‘beyond automation’). The ‘ii’ in the slogan not only refers to its collaborative LBR iiwa robot, but also links to the term IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things).
"This year, we are taking the next big step with ‘iintelligence 4.0: Beyond automation’. I look forward to welcoming you in April to our booth focusing on the topics of cobots, intelligent machines, logistics as well as cloud & connectivity," said Wilfried Eberhardt, Chief Marketing Officer, KUKA AG.
KUKA is celebrating an anniversary in 2018. To mark this occasion, KUKA has prepared something very special for visitors to Hannover Messe. Get ready for the exciting interplay of various KUKA small and lightweight robots as they manufacture customised anniversary souvenirs in the smart factory.
One will also be able to experience the topic of human-robot collaboration (HRC) and additional (further) developments from KUKA first hand at its booth.
KUKA subsidiary Swisslog will be on site providing visitors with demonstrations on how the right software can enable intralogistics processes to optimise themselves. Experience how SynQ software enters into dialog with Alexa, the smart voice-controlled assistant Alexa from Amazon, in order to facilitate everyday activities in warehousing centers.
Swisslog is also breaking ground in the areas of maintenance and servicing: using Augmented Reality (AR), the service center will in the future be able to send visual instructions to the AR glasses of on-site technicians.
At the neighboring booth of connyun, a start-up founded by KUKA, one will also be able to immerse in an innovative AR/Virtual Reality (VR) application. It was created in collaboration with the IoT company Device Insight, in which KUKA also holds a stake.
The vehicles are equipped with Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) for enhanced safety. The vehicles also feature simultaneous dual-gun charging for faster recharging and are equipped with the wi..
