Mumbai, 19th December, 2018: China Homelife Machinex’ India 2018, India’s largest China sourcing B2B exhibition, was inaugurated at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre. The expo directly sources 2,000 best-in-class suppliers from China seeking to do business in India and offers top grade Chinese products at a competitive price to Indian consumers. Instead of Indians having to travel to China and search for Chinese counterparts, this trade provides them with a three-day opportunity once a year, to build business relations.

Organised by Meorient International Shanghai, and managed by Winmark Exhibitions, China Homelife Machinex India 2018 received a massive response not only from the Indian visitors but also from neighbouring countries. The key dignitaries present for the inaugural ceremony were Tang Guocai Consul General Consulate General of the People's Republic of China, Mumbai, Vandan Shah, Co-Chairman, WR CII Taskforce on GST Implementation and Executive Director, Veena Diecasters & Engineers, Eric Pan, Chairman, Meorient International Exhibition, RK Jain, Chairman, IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Prasanna Dongre, President, Bombay Industries Association.

Meorient is currently the largest organiser of Chinese companies to participate in overseas exhibitions with fundamentals business composed by over 200 international exhibition projects of more than 20 industries in more than 30 nations. “India offers huge potential for on-line growth in foreign trade. This year, China Homelife Machinex India 2018 conducted panel discussion on developing Trade Relations and Enhancing Economic Partnerships between India and China which witnessed participation from the industry experts like Suparna Singh, Head Strategy, Larsen & Toubro, Samata Dhawade, Vice President, Economic Cell, Aditya Birla Group, Deng Jian, Deputy Director, Municipal Commission of Commerce, Hangzhou, Sanjiv Saraff, Senior Vice President, Investment Banking ICICI Securities and R Kannan, Head Corporate Performance Management, Hinduja Group.
