 Navitas and Ariel Green establish cooperation on long-term solar PV modules

Navitas, a leading local solar PV module manufacturer, has engaged in a strategic partnership with Ariel Green, the clean energy division of Ariel Re, Lloyd’s of London underwriters and a prominent provider of technology performance insurance globally. This collaboration enforces Navitas commitment to delivering solar PV modules with enhanced long-term financial appeal for PV projects.

Howden served as the insurance consultant for Navitas and Ariel Green throughout the engagement, leveraging on its comprehensive expertise of risk management. Howden's extensive knowledge of photo-voltaic warranty insurance facilitated the seamless completion of this collaboration, ensuring that both parties were well-protected and confident in navigating the industry's complexity.

The (re)insurance offers coverage to the warranty of solar PV modules produced by Navitas for up to 12 years in product warranty and up to 25 years (or 30 years depending on module type) in power warranty.
