Automation 2016 Awards

It was a clash of the titans as players from across the automation segments battled it out for top slot for the Best Stall as defined in four categories: 1. Direct foreign participation; 2. Small stall 9 to 36 sq.m; 3. Medium stall 36 to 70 sqm; and, 4. Large stalls more than 72 sq.m. An eminent team of experts was asked to select the winners for every category. In addition, IED introduced the Make in India award to support this initiative.

The stalls were judged on design, creativity, visual presentation, functionality and overall ambience. The judges looked for the unique aspects that made the stalls above other exhibits. The winners were ones who made good use of space, and clearly conveyed information about their product and services. Interactivity was also an important criterion; how an exhibit uses an effective and interactive idea to attract visitors to their booth. The idea of interactivity not only generates booth traffic, it is related to the company's product and targets prospective customers for their business. Also, the staff at the stall had to be knowledgeable, informative and approachable.
