Elesa+Ganter, a worldwide sales joint-venture that offers product of standard machine elements for the mechanical industry, has recently launched U-handle GN 422 with power switching function and integrated LED ring lighting, combining electrical functions to mechanical components.
Elesa+Ganter, a worldwide sales joint-venture that offers product of standard machine elements for the mechanical industry, has recently launched U-handle GN 422 with power switching function and integrated LED ring lighting, combining electrical functions to mechanical components.
This U-handle can be availed in black or silver with one or two LED buttons, based on the application. The electrical push button is made of high-quality stainless steel and equipped with a special two-color LED, which switches its color between red and green depending on the polarity. In practice, this allows for indication of the current production machine status.
These U-handles are fitted with either a plug connector or cable, including professional electrical installation, for mounting. The cable pass-through is covered, with the cable running out the back of the housing to be out of the user’s sight. The matching accessories can also be ordered from Elesa+Ganter. This includes the cable with connector M12x1 GN 330, which is needed for mounting the U-handle in the cable version.
In order to offer flexibly to individual customer needs and to allow for consistent machine design these U-handle can be availed without electrical features under the designation GN 422.1. Additionally, the illuminated pushbutton with changeover contact can be availed separately without the U-handle and with all connection variants under GN 3310.
