Kusam-Meco expands advanced testing solutions range for emerging industries

The company has expanded its industrial automation portfolio with process calibrators for testing and maintaining SCADA and PLC-based systems.
Kusam Electrical Industries Ltd, known for its Kusam-Meco brand of electronic test and measuring instruments, is strengthening its growth strategy through continuous product expansion and technology development. The company has recently introduced new solutions including partial discharge acoustic imagers, advanced thermal imagers, process calibrators and solar measurement instruments to cater to the evolving requirements of industries such as power, automation, chemicals and renewable energy.
Established in 1983, Kusam-Meco has been a pioneer in introducing digital test instruments in India. The company offers a wide range of electrical, electronic and environmental testing solutions, supported by strong after-sales service capabilities.
Chandmal Goliya, Managing Director, Kusam Electrical Industries Ltd, said, “Kusam-Meco has been in the test and measuring instruments industry for over four decades. We continue to introduce products with advanced features and safety standards to meet the changing requirements of our customers.”
As part of its product expansion strategy, the company has launched a partial discharge acoustic imager designed to identify gas leakages in gas-insulated transformers. It has also expanded its thermal imaging range, which helps industries detect temperature variations, surface issues and insulation leakages.
The company has further strengthened its presence in industrial automation applications with the introduction of process calibrators, which are used for testing and maintaining SCADA systems and PLC-based operations in automation and chemical industries.
According to Goliya, market opportunities remain strong for companies that focus on product quality and customer support. “Our strength is our after-sales service. We provide warranty support and continue servicing our products even after the warranty period. Some of our instruments have remained in use with customers for nearly 25 years,” he added.
Kusam-Meco’s solutions are widely used across steel, chemical, utility and railway sectors, which continue to be key growth drivers for the company. The company is also focusing on renewable energy applications, particularly solar power, by developing specialised measurement instruments.
“In recent years, we have added new multimeters and clamp meters designed for solar applications. These instruments help measure the high voltage and current generated in solar panels, supporting safe and efficient operations,” Goliya said.
With continued investment in product innovation and a customer-focused approach, Kusam-Meco aims to further strengthen its position in India’s growing electrical testing and measurement market.
