Dixon and Inventec join hands to manufacture PCs and servers in India

The joint venture entity, named Dixon IT Devices Private Limited, will focus on producing notebook PCs, desktop PCs (including key components), and servers domestically, according to the company’s regulatory filing.
Dixon Technologies, a leading Indian electronics manufacturing services firm, has signed a joint venture agreement with Taiwan’s Inventec Corporation to manufacture personal computers, components, and servers in India.
The joint venture entity, named Dixon IT Devices Private Limited, will focus on producing notebook PCs, desktop PCs (including key components), and servers domestically, according to the company’s regulatory filing.
This partnership strengthens India’s position in the global IT hardware supply chain and aligns with the government’s push for local electronics manufacturing under initiatives like Make in India.
