Christian Gysin assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at HARTING Technology Group on 1 March 2026. In this position, he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global technology strategy, engineering development, and technical innovation initiatives.

Gysin brings more than three decades of experience in industrial technology and engineering leadership. He began his professional career in 1990 at Endress + Hauser Flowtec AG, where he built his early expertise in industrial measurement and process technologies. He later held several management positions at ABB in Dättwyl, Switzerland, gaining extensive experience in engineering and technology-driven operations. During his career, he also served in a leadership role at Basler Zeitung Medien AG in Switzerland.

In 2010, Gysin joined Multi-Contact AG—now part of Stäubli International AG—where he took responsibility for the company’s technical department. His role expanded in 2016 when he assumed leadership of the company’s global engineering operations. Most recently, from 2021 until his departure, Gysin served as Chief Technology Officer of the Electrical Connectors Division at Stäubli International AG, where he was responsible for engineering strategy and technology development for the division’s connector solutions portfolio.

With his extensive background in engineering leadership and industrial technology development, Gysin now takes on the responsibility of driving HARTING’s technological advancement and innovation agenda.
