Samvardhana Motherson to acquire Japan-based Atsumitec for $57 million

The board of Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) approved a $57 million acquisition of Japan-based Atsumitec. The decision was made during a board of directors meeting on December 6, 2024. The transaction will be executed through SAHN BV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samvardhana Motherson Automotive Systems Group B.V. (SMRP B.V.).

In compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and relevant SEBI guidelines, details of the proposed acquisition are provided in Annexure A, with an investor presentation attached as Annexure B.

The board meeting commenced at 11:00 AM IST and concluded at 12:20 PM IST.
