Gurugram

Lumax Auto Technologies Limited, a leading automotive components manufacturer, announced its unaudited results for the first quarter ended 30 June 2025, marking a robust start to FY26 with executional strength, scale benefits, and gains from core operations and strategic investments.

Consolidated Financial Highlights for Q1 FY26:
  • Revenue Growth: Consolidated revenue from operations rose to Rs 1,026 crore, a 36 per cent increase from Rs 756 crore in Q1 FY25.
  • Enhanced Profitability: Consolidated profit after tax grew 30 per cent to Rs 54 crore from Rs 42 crore last year, reflecting strong value creation.

On a standalone basis, revenue from the OEM business rose 5 per cent, while the aftermarket segment grew 16 per cent YoY, highlighting strong customer traction. Subsidiaries, excluding Greenfuel, posted 36 per cent growth, with IAC India and Mechatronics entities leading. Including Greenfuel, growth reached 59 per cent in Q1 FY26.

Anmol Jain, Managing Director, Lumax Auto Technologies Limited, said the company’s steady Q1 performance aligned with internal budgets. Margins saw a slight dip due to unrecognised price corrections from customers, now received in the current month. Gains from these adjustments will reflect in Q2, with H1 EBITDA margins expected between 14 and 15 per cent. The 100 per cent acquisition of IAC India strengthens Lumax’s EV interior space position and integration capabilities. With a strong balance sheet and a clear strategic focus, the company remains committed to its 20:20:20:20 NorthStar vision for profitable growth, capital efficiency, and leadership in emerging mobility.

In the quarter, Lumax incorporated two wholly owned subsidiaries—Lumax Autocomp Private Limited (24 July 2025) and Lumax Auto Solutions Private Limited (26 July 2025)—to capture emerging automotive sector opportunities. Completion of the remaining 25 per cent acquisition of IAC India in May 2025 will contribute to profits attributable from that date.

The Board approved establishing a branch office in China to pursue new business prospects and strengthen technological capabilities, and a Technology Centre—SHIFT (Smart Hub for Innovation and Future Trends)—in Bengaluru.

Lumax Auto Technologies, through its subsidiaries, manufactures a wide range of products including advanced plastics, 2/3-wheeler lighting, chassis, gear shifters, shift towers, emission systems, seat frames, oxygen sensors, on-board antennas, electric devices, wiring harnesses, vehicle interiors, and CNG delivery systems. It is a market leader in gear shifters and interior solutions in India, with a pan-India distribution network and 30 manufacturing plants. Key customers include Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki, Honda Motorcycles and Scooters, Tata Motors, Daimler India, and Volkswagen.
