Texmaco Wins Rs 413.1 Million SCR Signalling Modernisation Order

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has secured an order from South Central Railway (SCR), Vijayawada Division, for a railway signalling modernisation project. The order highlights the company’s capabilities in advanced railway infrastructure and signalling solutions aimed at improving the safety, reliability, and efficiency of rail operations.

Sudipta Mukherjee, Managing Director, Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited, said, “This order from South Central Railway reflects continued trust in Texmaco’s engineering expertise and execution capabilities in railway infrastructure projects. As Indian Railways modernises its signalling and safety systems, Texmaco remains committed to delivering solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and safety across the network.”

The project involves replacing panel interlocking systems with Electronic Interlocking and upgrading outdoor signalling gears at DWP, KYM, PUA, BVM, BPY and TUNI stations on the BZA–DVD section of the Vijayawada Division. The total order value is approximately Rs 413.1 million (excluding taxes), with execution expected within 18 months.

The contract aligns with Indian Railways’ focus on upgrading signalling infrastructure and deploying electronic interlocking systems to improve safety and operational efficiency across the network. Texmaco’s engineering capabilities and experience in rail infrastructure position it as a partner in these modernisation initiatives.

With a diversified portfolio spanning freight cars, rail infrastructure, and electrical systems, Texmaco continues to support India’s railway modernisation and logistics infrastructure development.
