Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited, a flagship of the Adventz Group and a leading player in India’s railway manufacturing and infrastructure sector, has secured two major orders worth a combined Rs 1.87 billion from Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) and Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited. The orders strengthen the company’s diversified presence across urban mobility and industrial freight segments.

The company has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 1.30 billion from Kochi Metro Rail Limited for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of ballastless track (BLT) and associated works for the elevated section between JLN Stadium and Infopark stations under Phase 2 of the Kochi Metro Rail Project. The stretch is expected to improve last-mile connectivity to key commercial and IT hubs and support Kochi’s expanding urban transit ecosystem.

The order highlights the company’s strength in delivering specialised, high-performance rolling stock solutions for core industrial applications, further strengthening its position in the industrial logistics domain.

The Kochi Metro project is scheduled for completion within 16 months and will support urban mobility infrastructure in the region. The Vedanta Aluminium order comes amid strong growth in India’s metals and mining sector, where capacity expansions are driving demand for efficient and sustainable bulk logistics solutions.
