MIC Electronics Secures Rs 44.5 million Eastern Railway Orders

MIC Electronics Limited has secured Letters of Acceptance (LoAs) from Eastern Railway, Howrah Division, for projects valued at approximately Rs 44.5 million. The orders have been awarded under two separate competitive tenders and further strengthen the company’s position in India’s railway digital infrastructure ecosystem.

The contracts involve the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of advanced Passenger Information and Communication Systems (PIS) across multiple railway stations in the Howrah Division. The scope of work includes the deployment of state-of-the-art railway information display systems and allied infrastructure, in line with Eastern Railway’s stringent technical, safety and quality specifications. The projects are scheduled to be completed within six months from the date of issuance of the LoAs.

These wins reinforce MIC Electronics’ strong execution capabilities in large-scale railway projects and its growing role in Indian Railways’ digital modernisation initiatives. The orders also highlight the company’s technical expertise in intelligent passenger information systems and its consistent ability to secure repeat business through a competitive bidding process.

Commenting on the development, Rakshit Mathur, CEO, MIC Electronics Limited, said, “Securing these prestigious orders from Eastern Railway reflects the trust placed in MIC Electronics’ technology, execution strength, and compliance standards. We remain committed to delivering high-performance, future-ready digital solutions that enhance passenger experience and support Indian Railways’ long-term modernisation roadmap.”

He further added that the company continues to strengthen its order book through focused participation in railway and public infrastructure tenders, aligned with the sustained growth opportunities in the sector.

With these new orders, MIC Electronics expands its footprint within the Howrah Division, deepens its engagement across the railway ecosystem and improves revenue visibility for FY 2025–26. The projects also contribute to the broader digital transformation of Indian Railways by enhancing passenger communication, operational efficiency and station-level digital infrastructure.

MIC Electronics remains strategically focused on Passenger Information Systems (PIS), IPIS, PAPIS, display technologies and integrated communication infrastructure for railways and public-sector clients across India.
