JCBL South has manufactured and delivered 1,000 20-foot CSC Certified Containers to US-headquartered energy multinational GE Vernova. Developed entirely for 100 per cent export to the United States, the order marks one of JCBL South’s largest international clean energy infrastructure manufacturing projects to date.

JCBL South, a JCBL Group company based in Oragadam, specialises in heavy fabrication and engineered manufacturing solutions. The company executed the order for GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions business, manufacturing the containers to house Flex Inverter systems used in Hybrid Renewable Power Stations. These power stations are a critical component of GE Vernova’s renewable energy infrastructure portfolio.

The project was executed entirely in-house at JCBL South’s facility, covering design, fabrication, assembly, painting, testing and final dispatch. The units were manufactured to meet stringent global standards for quality, safety and operational performance.

To deliver the project at scale, the company established a dedicated production line. During execution, it improved production planning efficiencies and significantly reduced rework levels. The project also supported focused workforce capability development, with teams undergoing specialised training in sealant and paint operations to maintain consistency and finish quality across all 1,000 units.
