Fineotex Expands Specialty Chemical Capacity with New Ambernath Facility

Fineotex Chemical opens Rs 60 crore Ambernath plant, adding 15,000 MT capacity in Phase 1, boosting specialty chemical production and strengthening market presence in India and abroad.

Fineotex Chemical Limited (FCL), one of India’s leading multinational specialty performance chemical manufacturers, has commenced operations at its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ambernath from 7 August 2025.
The company has invested approximately Rs 60 crore in this expansion, funded through internal accruals and capital raised, adding 7 acres to its operational footprint. The first phase of the additional facility will increase production capacity by 15,000 metric tonnes, meeting rising demand for specialty chemicals in both domestic and international markets.
Strategically located, the new plant offers seamless connectivity to Nhava Sheva Port (JNPT), Bhiwandi, and Fineotex’s existing Ambernath facility, ensuring efficient logistics and faster delivery to customers.
