Jindal Stainless to supply stainless steel and steel sheets for BrahMos

Jindal Stainless has been accredited by BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd as a qualified vendor for supplying high-end stainless steel and specialty low-alloy steel sheets for defence projects. The company will provide these materials from its Hisar plant in Haryana. 

Jindal Stainless recently supplied 3 mm special alloy steel sheets for the Supersonic Missile-Assisted Release of Torpedo (SMART) system. This latest development underscores the company's commitment to bolstering India's defence capabilities.

Abhyuday Jindal, Managing Director, Jindal Stainless, emphasised the company's dedication to enhancing its capabilities to meet the rigorous standards required for such critical applications. He expressed pride in contributing to India's defence sector and aligning with the vision of achieving self-reliance in defence.

The company has a history of supplying materials for major defence and space projects, including India's lunar mission Chandrayaan, the PSLV and GSLV Mk3 rockets, nuclear submarine missile systems, and various missile programs.
