Power Winches

Eddycrane Engineers offers Elmech brand electric power winches of capacities up to 50 tonnes. They are useful for lifting loads for erection and installation of steel structurals, heavy water gates, heavy mater ials loading in steel plants and handling loads on level hooks. The main winch consists of a steel fabricated rigid base, a slipring/squirrel cage electric motor, a hydraulic thyristor brake, heavy duty gearbox, steel ground gears, a steel drum fully supported in roll bearings, electrical controls with fully protected safety limit switches, a mechanical stopper, a safety belt, and a hand brake.
