Overhead Travelling Crane

Endeavour Instrument offers an Overhead Travelling Crane. It typically consists of three important parts: the Hoist, providing up/down motion to lift items; the Trolley, providing left/right motion for the hoist and load; and the Bridge, providing backward/forward motion for trolley, hoist, and load. The bridge girders are plate welded box type designed to sustain all stresses arising due to vertical and lateral forces with impact. The end carriages are fabricated from rolled steel section with suitable diaphragms and stiffeners to give strong construction. Rubber buffers are provided on both sides of end carriages to absorb jerks. Twin drive arrangement will be provided for long travel motion, which contains motors, gearboxes, brakes, etc., coupled together. The crane duty electric motors as per IS 325 are suitable for frequent starting, reversing and braking. Motors are foot/flange mounted TEFC/TESC, squirrel cage/slip ring induction type for hoisting, CT and LT motion. Fail to safe electromagnetic/electro hydraulic thruster type brakes are provided for hoisting, CT and LT motion. The structural parts of the cranes are thoroughly cleaned and are applied with one coat of red oxide and two coats of enamel paints before dispatch.
