Under Slung Cranes
Endeavour Instrument offers Under Slung Cranes. These are distinguished by the fact that they are supported from the roof structure and run on the bottom flange of runway girders. They offer excellent side approaches, close headroom and can be supported on runways hung from existing building members if adequate. The gearboxes are made of accurate hob cut helical/spur gears and pinions having hardness 250 to 350 BHN made form carbon alloy steel. All gears and pinions are running on anti-friction type ball/roller bearings in totality enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication. Safety limit switches for stoppers are provided to prevent over hoisting and travelling. End stoppers are provided on either side of the bridge to limit the cross travel motion of the hoist/crab. MS chequered plate/anti skid plate platform is provided for full length on one side of the bridge girder in case of double girder crane. The control panel consists of contactors, overload relay, fuses, transformers, etc. The crane is suitable to operate on power supply of 415V, 50 Hz, 3-phase AC. The operation of the crane is controlled from suspended pendent push button station remote control.
