Hydraulic Platform Mounted On Truck

Shalimar Engineering Co offers Mac-Lifton Hydraulic Platform mounted on truck, used generally in all airlines and projects for overhead maintenance jobs. The size of the platform is generally 6 m (L) x 2.3 m (W). It also has a hydraulic extension, which can travel 2.1 m forward and backward. The capacity of the platform is 1350 kg and on extension it is 500 kg. The platform can be operated from three positions: from truck cabin, platform top and at base of the truck. The side of the platform is covered with one metre railings with opening at the back and for entry a convenient ladder is provided to get in and out, and an opening on the side to move any material if required. There are four stabilisers, all hydraulic, without which the platform would not function. Provision is also made to start/stop the truck engine from the platform whenever required as an added safety feature. When fully extended, the platform rises to a height of 32 ft, giving a working height of 37 ft, by virtue of multiple scissors. It is mounted on a 2.1 Tata 1112/42 model with PTO. An observation window is also provided in drivers cabin on the top as an additional safety feature. Safety features include: lock valve mounted on each hydraulic cylinder; warning lights in cab to indicate stabiliser and plat`form position; hydraulic pressure switch that prevents the platform from rising unless stabilisers are down; hydraulic valve prevents stabilisers from retracting unless the platform is fully lowered; and emergency stop switch, interlock between platform, extension and lowering of the platform, to prevent lowering of platform when extended.
