Das Precision Machine Tool Pvt Ltd offers a range of Chip Handling Systems. Handling chips in small, medium or large machine shops has been always a problem of the shop managers. As a complete solution to chip handling, recovering oil and disposing, the company offers a complete line comprising a chip shredder, a chip wringer and the associated paraphernalia of conveyors and inlet/outlet mechanisms. Long and curly chips from machining centres are conveyed by a conveyor or manually loaded to the chip shredder where they are shredded into desired size. This chip shredder has an online protection for overload. After chips are shredded they are conveyed to automatic bottom discharge wringer where these are processed to separate oil sticking onto the chips as a result of adhesion and surface tension and the dry chips are discharged at bottom in the trolley. After wringing chips these are conveyed by a conveyor to briquetting machine manufactured by the company where they are compacted in form of cubes, which are of less than one third volume of the normal chips, making it convenient and economical to handle and transport. This full line for chip handling comes with a complete sophisticated control panel for the system well equipped with safety provision. Features of Chip Shredder: 40% size reduction; suitable for long and curly chips of aluminium, titanium, steel, etc; resharpenable cutters; and capacity 100 kg/hr to 500 kg/hr. Features of Chip Wringer: 90% oil recovery; dry chips discharged automatically; suitable for steel, brass, aluminium, cast iron, etc; capacity 90 kg/hr and 180 kg/hr.
