Variable Speed Pulley

Variable speed Swati pulley consists of two pulley disks which move axially on a serrated hub. The drive motor with its variable speed pulley is fitted to the adjustable motor slide base. By adjusting the centre distance between the driver and the driven shafts, the variable speed belt is pulled further in or further out of the pulley. Speed variation of up to 1:3 is achieved. Variable speed pulleys with aluminium disks and diaphragm springs are also available. Dynamically balanced, pulley bores are broached to H7 to tolerance, keyways are broached is to IS: 2710.
