Vertical Lift Systems, Shuttle X Plus

Kardex India Storage Solutions offers Shuttle, X Plus, the latest member in the Kardex family of Vertical Lift Systems. Building on the success of the recently launched Shuttle XP, the XPlus takes Kardex into new application areas. Already referred to in the industry as “the whispering giant” the Shuttle XPlus introduces technology enabling up to 4 Shuttle XP units to be placed side, but only requiring upwards of one access opening. A new multi directional extractor system removes the need for access openings on each machine, as the XPlus extractor travels in the x, y and z axes. The Shuttle XPlus is a very exciting product as it takes Kardex into new application areas where the company can help manufacturers and wholesalers introduce a very high level of automation, where previously it may have proved impractical. Economical, large format shuttle technology, tailor made to suit larger stores, the Shuttle Xplus has been born out of the new technology offered by the Kardex shuttle XP. It allows for a series of 4 shuttles to be installed side by side out only using the one common extractor. This means access to any stored items along the entire length of 6 m and up to 60 m high from the one access point.
