Bucket Elevators

Bucket elevators for packing of bags offer several benefits. The buckets are food grade and made of polypropylene and fitted with bronze inserts, which allow easy movement for the stainless steel pins. The bucket size is 405 x 100 x 80 mm deep, giving sufficient volume to carry large capacities of material. Working: the distribution system works in synchronisation with the MH weigher and the FFS bag maker; on getting the signal from the MH weigher (MHW), the vibratory cross feeder (VCF) starts feeding the material to it. This ensures that the MHW will only get the material when required. This is regulated by directing a signal from the MHW to the solid state relay, which further activates the VCF. A photocell sensor installed at the VCF further activates the pneumatic cylinder fitted in the distribution system, which again ensures that the VCF gets the material only when it is empty. This ensures that the material drops only when there is actual requirement and all the machines installed get material as required.
