Powered Roller Accumulation Conveyor

Maschinen Fabrik (India) offers a Powered Roller Accumulation Conveyor (PRAC) in modular design, which allows for modifications to be made to the system at a later date, with minimum disruption. This is used for transferring crates, cartons, boxes, pallets, slave boards etc. automatically over horizontal or inclined planes. Due to its unique design of drive principle, the conveyor accumulates products and only applies minimum end pressure. Plastic sleeved tapered rollers are used for 90° bends. One line shaft driven by a geared motor provides power to the rollers by PU drive belts, which are designed to slip under excessive loading and allows the product to accumulate. Conveyors are manufactured in 8 standard widths from 412 mm wide to 1012 mm wide. The conveyor framework, having jig welded cross braces and frame alignment bosses, ensures accuracy in frame construction and provides correct frame alignment in vertical and horizontal planes, which is of the utmost importance when installing Line shaft conveyors. The alignment boss and pin fixing arrangement also ensures correct shaft coupling connection. Standard models of straight track, bend units (30, 45, 60 and 90°), switch, merge, chain transfer, pusher, line brake, rotary brake, vertical brake, sorter, pack alignment units, are used to complete any given layout of conveying. Inclined belt conveyors, elevator assemblies are used for 3-dimensional movement.
