Belt Conveyor, Air Cushioned

The Aerobelt state-of-the-art conveying system manufactured by Bevcon Wayors, is an air cushion belt conveyor used for conveying wide variety of materials such as coal, limestone, cement, fly ash/dust, sand, cereals, coffee, fertilizer, flour, tobacco, woodchips, etc. With the Aerobelt system the belt is carried on a film of air blown into trough sections thereby moves smoothly and fast, minimising product degradation, while conveying greater volumes on smaller conveyors. Traditional belt conveyors agitate their loads to such an extent that there is product loss, causing environmental pollution, and some material separation can occur. Aerobelt can transport material with an angle of inclination of up to 27 degrees compared to traditional conveyor. The increased angle of inclination requires less space, reduces the belt length and so increases economy. Aerobelt conveyors are almost friction free because there are few moving parts, which reduce the energy consumption.
