Gasketing Compounds

Acra Bond "Form in Place" gasket when used on flanges and castings, eliminates maintaining inventory of different types of pre cut gaskets of cork, metal paper, rubber, etc. The following grades are available: Grade 54 - this is a solvent based high temperature-withstanding (150?C) gasket used especially where LPG resistance is required. High pressure up to 90 kg/cm2 resistance is its highlight. Inner coating on vessels ensures acid proofing (non reactivity); Grade 57 - anaerobic type liquid gasket. Replaces traditional pre cut gaskets and cures rapidly between metal surfaces, filling of scratches, crack in between flanges; Grade 59 - silicone based high temperature (250?C) withstanding; very good oil resistance and pressure resistance are some of its features. Oil pan sealing, gear oil resistance, oil filter gasketing compound are some of its uses; and Grade Silicone paste - high molecular weight silicone fluid blended with dispersants to form a lubricating, sealing compound between, flanges. Used as high vacuum grease in clean rooms.
